Its been a year since the servers were taken off line.. MANY things have changed since then, but generally this is the new Availability Methodology.
1 The servers no longer have a 24/7 accessibilty to external users. If its down.. it's down.
2 The Pages themselves are what used to be our internal pages, So the site is being rebuilt, but it's primary focus is still serving our domain.
3 Upload and download File Access is only for registered domain users ie. Friends & Family
4 Some links are internal [not translatable into www traffic] and for easier day to day access of common folders. External Authenticated Users can utilize the Web based Upload & Download sections to access files.
5 I've endeavored to go a little "greener" as far as always on PC's/ Servers. While I like them to be accessable at all times.. The connection does drop on occasion, this may change in the near future but for now there are simply more important things on my list than spending 100.00 bills a month on bloated costs [while my pay seems to be untied from rising costs!]
6 Joining the Network is the only way to access the files available. Why.. In Simple terms an authenticated user is considered a member of the 'household'. There are a few disclaimers that will be posted.
7 Users should contribute to the Network
Network Standards
Video: [avi] DivX 6 or XviD compressed at a minimum of 700mb with MP3 Audio [uncompressable mpg files are deleted] vob is allowed
Audio: MP3 or flac
Documents: doc txt csv rtf xls xlr pdf psd etc [All standard types]
