A little about Me

Were to start? :-S

Not much posting lately.. Been doing across the board upgrades on my WinServer2003 based home network. I've gotten rid of a few old Computers, shifted some around to server duties and upgrading Audio/Video capacities adding IR remotes and new speakers.. so far upgrades in capacity and other stuff has only totaled about 300.00.

Welp, In addition to modeling, I'm into the norms. I find it amazing that my life can be spanned looking over playlists on my Media Player :-(

One of my current favorite Bands: VNV Nation [V]ictory [N]ot [V]engence

for the uninitiated, they hail from Ireland & the E.U. therei usic ranges from fusions of old influences, philosophies with some current thoughts on our state of being & the future. Melodies range from slow & thoughtful to highly organized militant

So here is a brief Chrono of my time on this rock

In the late 60's I was brought on board this spinning rock, and for a time spent yoyo'ing between Baltimore, Oakland, Garrett Co, Md & Naples, Florida

Then We moved a few times in and around the outskirts of Baltimore, Irvington etc.

I attended Beechfield Elementary, Gwynns Falls Park Jr High [a few months] then....

In the early 80's I spent a year in a Grace Bible Baptist School,, I didn't Like it, I liked the church, but the school was a whole nother matter!

I then spent my Jr year of High School in Catonsville SR High. All I really remember from that time,, was Sitting in Algebra turning in blank assignments in protest having been forced to take the class because of drafting; A weirdo that would tell the class his freakish dreams of Mashed Potatoes & his mother..... don't ask ;), and being watched over by an elder classman from the boys school up the road cuz I was quiet and out of place for awhile.

In 84 we moved to Carroll Co. Md, where I went to South Carroll High School [GO CAVS!]

This is where my heart is, all of life's best memories, friends & growing get all fuzzy n warm. Everyone was "duey"

1987-1988 My Best Friend 'Duey' [a] and I went to work for Ross, Murphy & Finklestein, an engineering firm in Baltimore. It was a great time, while it lasted.....

1988 I came closer to home and took some job at Rite-Aid :-S [I had a father that thought i shouldn't be driving so far to work]

1989 I worked for the ole pooper for sometime, turning wrenches... till we had a disagreement on shop & customer amenity matters...... So after I quit, they were his ideas.... Duey's [a/b], myself & our girlfriends spent alot of time on Deep Creek Lake..

1990-1992 Duey [b], and I partied ALOT, Some of the gang got married. I was a big Radio freak,, CB's [yes they were cheap cell phones]

1992 Then I went to London Fog, while I attended the Academy for a Branch of the B.Co.P.D.

The old pooper, my father, took off in the early morn while Mom was workin,, Leaving a note "Have a nice life" [basically]; the day after a tour of the MSP Chopper in Middle River..

I was a Part Time Officer in the Operational Field Support Division of B.Co.P.D. I was privelegded enough to have been assigned to work President Clinton's visit to Hooks Lane & the Papal Visit to Baltimore [A multi-Agency affair, a frankly a wee bit scarey; red lazers showing up on your buddies chest & forehead THEN on your own person from time to time was enough to really make you loose control of the ole wizzwang]

I was supervisor for Master Security, in Towson, Md..... and yes the owner has questionable ethics... I did well there. I found that those ASVAB & aptitude test one gets every years in school was not to far off. I received mngr of the month 4 times and had 0 hours in post time [working a site] and yes there is a simple secret to managing,, never let the title go to your head.

1994 I moved to Havre De Grace, MD... This was that period of life that you learn about in Physc class, but deep down hope you glide thru.. I didn't. If you asked if I had any regrets before I moved there, I woulda said no. While to everyone else I held my head up and plugged away, inside I was hurt, confused, betrayed, angry and far away from anything close to a close friend. By the end of the 90's though I grew alittle, but many of the things I was, had been 'put away'. The owner of Master Security held a metting and graciously announced that none of Us would be there that same time next year, He liked to get new brooms every few years..

Mid to late 90's are blurry, Not because I was stoned, I was stupid,, drugs  woulda been preferable to the torture of chasing a love that didn't know when to stop twisting arms. But I did have some fun and lots of hmmmmmmmm, well you took bio..... If I got a look, I was all over it!

I slowed things down a bit and took a lil Job at the local Pepsi distributer, It turned out to be good for the soul for awhile.. then one night someone spilled soda on the floor and didn't clean it up at a 3 way intersection in the warehouse, which also was a spot they assembled pallets of 1 liters... As I made that turn the tow motor slid, pinned little Joe Hanson against stacks of new stock. You can imagine the the thoughts as you turn around to see a 5'2'' person between a 1 ton machine and a wall... Fortunately soda bottles are plastic, He just had the wind shoved out of him.

1999 I returned to the area my family hails...... WTF was I thinking... Family will rake ya over faster than a stranger.. I worked at a Marina, Tended Bar [Lots of fun, but the natives are horny in a weird kinda way]....

2001 I missed Baltimore, called a friend, got a job, became a supervisor again, drove all over Maryland. Roger, my boss was great to work with, Our weekly meetings he would write each of our Post times on a chalk board always highlighting my 0 time, while ole Johnny on 7-3 had anywhere from 12-30 hours [I guess I should add that for 7 months I oversaw 3-11 AND 11-7] So what made the difference, Johnny treated his people like indentured servants, even making the mistake of talking down to me one incident he was stuck working a site! I met and knew every single person on my shift, explained my goals and philosophies, visited every site [40+] every week and let them know that I was their supervisor, not A supervisor. Big difference.

2004 came BACK to the mountains.... again, I worked for Wal-Mart [man that whole, singing the walmart tune is just creepy] told the assistant manager "obie" to [yes] Kiss my ass... walked home on a bone biting november day, got sick and well...

2005 Back in Security for a mine outside of Town... the "boss" was one step away from something in "Wrong Turn" and wouldn't stop advancing me... When I just had enough and told her to lay off,, she trumped some shiet up, lied to her boss [I got paperwork and proof] and had me dismissed, So i lived off Wackenhut for a year!

2006 Some dipshits at the Keyser, WV hospital told a few of us, that our insides would coming outside, so Life again was a horrible nightmare.. Then "ooooo Oooopps we made a mistake Your not gunna die", Moved to Keyser, WV and began Yet again...... I took a trip to Florida to give my Lil Sister away..

2009,,, WOW I am in the same place! my life is pleasantly boring, No weird drama's, I goto work, watch movies, talk to people, then play with my trains... Life is kinda sweet...

Me & my Mede'HA

there was a day, I would get really worried that someday I'd wake up surrounded by Classical Music & twitchy Crossover Country music......Alas I can safetly say that its not happened yet...My taste still revolve around musik originating in Europe! If you grew up around DC/ MD you may remember one of my favorite broadcasts on the ole FM.... WAVA's Rock of The 90's & WHFS 99.1 before they went all mainstream [fuxing sellouts!] Anywho that may give ya a glimer into what Gen[?] I iza from....

Some of my Fav bands are

dEPECHE mODE ["my" albums... Music for the Masses, Violator, Exciter.]

Singles: World In My Eyes [It is Not World in The Eyes! LOL a peev]: Only When I loose Myself: Freelove: Higher Love: Clean: I Feel You [Helmu At the Helm Mix]: Behind the Wheel: Route 66]

NEW ORDER   if you don't know Blue Monday then your not not old enough to drink!

VNV NATION

I am relatively new to their stuff, but they have some serious hooks! I tend to like the remixes of the normal trax. They have a viscious nerve grabbing beat and lyrics that, should you choose to remove the beat; you could easily relate too.

Singles: Beloved [Grey Dawn Version]: Fearless: Chrome: Epicenter

Assemblage 23

These guys are fairly mixed up, but lyrics can at times touch nerves ya just didn't know were there!

Eurythmics

Annie & Dave really are at No 1..... I remember watching the Sweet Dreams Video on the original MTV and savin for a couple o weeks to buy...hold onto your suspenders... the Cassette!

Technology

Hmm My first computer was a TRS-80 CoCo and I had the Tape drive! If you woulda told me that someday I would have 6 puters, a couple Servers and Music & video that made VHS look like a kids film [LOL] I woulda said Go blow that smoke up someone else's arse!

My first PC Windows 3.1 came in about 1994... I was mesmerized by the Display lol... It handled alot of Master Security Inc. documents.. Back then I got programs from a variety of sources and all we had was 1.44mb discs!
